The Benefits of Consuming Hydrogen Water Part 1

Posted by Sam Petegorsky on

Hydrogen Water has been popular overseas as a means to improve ones health. Their has been limited research on the health benefits of consuming Hydrogen Water, and the reports that are available, are highly technical, and not easily understandable.

I will be posting a series of articles where we I will breakdown existing studies on the health benefits of Hydrogen Water. This is the first in that series.

This particular study looked at the benefits of Hydrogen Water for people with Metabolic Syndrome (high risk for heart disease, stroke and type 2 diabetes). The study involved the subject drinking between 300-400ml of Hydrogen Water at a concentration around 500-600ppb.

At the end of the 8 week trial period, the subjects had a significant 39% increase in measurable antioxidant levels, a significant decrease of 42% in oxidative stress levels, as well as a 8% increase in HDL (good cholesterol) and decrease of 13% in overall cholesterol.

That's some pretty impressive results for something that is easy to do as drinking Hydrogen Water
